Take the Wheel: A Guide to Managing Your Roamly Carshare Policy Online

1. Introduction: Less Time on Hold, More Time on the Road

Let's be honest, as a carshare host, your time is your money. You're juggling bookings, managing fleet maintenance, and keeping your customers happy. The last thing you have time for is sitting on hold to make a simple change to your insurance policy. We get it. Your business doesn't stop, and neither should your ability to manage it.

That’s why we’ve rolled out a major update to your Roamly dashboard. We’re putting the keys in your hand—literally—giving you the power to manage your policy on your own time, 24/7. No more phone calls for the small stuff. Just quick, easy tools that get the job done so you can get back to what you do best.

This guide is your new owner's manual. We'll walk you through the most common tasks you can now tackle yourself, right from your computer or phone.

2. How to Add Vehicles to Your Policy

Your fleet is constantly evolving. Whether you're adding a shiny new car to meet demand or retiring a trusted workhorse, updating your policy needs to be fast. Now, it is.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to your Roamly dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the ‘Vehicles’ section of your policy.

  3. Click the ‘Add Vehicle’ button.

  4. Enter the new vehicle’s information (VIN, year, make, and model).

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your change. You’ll see your updated vehicle list immediately.

Pro-Tip: When you add a vehicle, your policy premium will adjust automatically. We’ll prorate the cost, so you only pay for what you need, down to the day. You'll see the change reflected on your next billing statement.

3. Update Your Billing Information

Need to switch to a new business credit card or update an expiration date? You can get it done in less time than it takes to find a good parking spot.

Here’s how to update your payment method:

  1. Log in to your Roamly dashboard and head to the ‘Billing’ section.

  2. Click ‘Update Payment Method’.

  3. Enter your new card details in the secure form.

  4. Click ‘Save’. It’s that simple.

4. Download Your Proof of Insurance Documents

Sometimes you need your insurance documents, and you need them now. Whether it's for a DMV visit or just for your own records, waiting for an email is a hassle. Now, you have on-demand access to everything you need.

Here's how to get your documents instantly:

  1. From your main Roamly dashboard, click on the ‘Documents’ tab.

  2. You will see a list of all available policy documents, like your Insurance ID Cards and Declarations Page.

Click the ‘Download’ button next to the document you need. A PDF will be saved directly to your device.
