A vehicle service contract (VSC) is coverage for mechanical and electrical breakdowns your factory warranty doesn't cover. You can add it to supplement your existing factory warranty or pick it up once your factory warranty has ended. It also includes roadside assistance, rental reimbursement, and travel expenses if you break down far from home. Administered by Veritas Global Protection.
No. Whether you run a carshare fleet or just want protection for your personal vehicle, the same contract covers mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Fleet operators get coverage that keeps vehicles earning; personal drivers get protection against surprise repair bills.
Your contract is administered by Veritas Global Protection, a vehicle protection partner with over 20 years in the industry. Veritas has paid out more than $150M in claims, is endorsed by A-rated carriers, and supports more than 6,000 dealerships globally.
Any time. Many customers buy one before their factory warranty ends for seamless, overlapping coverage. Others add one once their factory warranty has expired. Eligibility is based on your vehicle's age and mileage at the time of purchase.
Coverage depends on the plan you pick. Premier is our most comprehensive option, covering nearly every mechanical and electrical component on your vehicle with only a few exclusions. Powertrain (or Drivetrain for electric vehicles) focuses on core systems like the engine, transmission, and drivetrain components. Every plan also includes roadside assistance, rental reimbursement, and travel expenses.
Most vehicles qualify. Standard vehicles are eligible up to 20 years old and 250,000 miles. Electric and high-value vehicles have different age and mileage limits. Enter your VIN and we'll confirm eligibility instantly.
You can choose 3, 4, or 5 years. You'll also choose whether your coverage is mileage-capped (matching your term) or unlimited miles.
Two options: pay in full upfront with no extra fees, or choose monthly payments. Monthly plans include a small installment fee.
Take it to any licensed repair shop. The shop calls the Veritas claims line, Veritas authorizes covered repairs, and pays the shop directly (minus your deductible). If you break down more than 100 miles from home, travel expenses and rental reimbursement kick in automatically.
Yes. Claims can be filed after a 30-day and 1,000-mile waiting period from your contract's effective date.
Yes to both. You can cancel anytime for a refund of the unused portion. You can also transfer the contract to the next owner when you sell your vehicle, which adds resale value.
